I've had both and the Eibach have the same spring rate as the Original springs whereas the H&R's are slightly stiffer. If you drive the car hard and the roads are OK than I say go for the H&R's combined with Bilsteins. Whatever you do DO NOT use Koni on M3 e30. I took a nearly brand new set of Koni's off to fit Bilstein, they way the Billies digest potholes is unparalleled.

That is NOT true. The thing is that the fact the car is considerably stronger from 5500 and on gives you the feeling it's slower than the other M3's below that but this couldn't be further from the truth the reality is the engine has more torque AND power. I had both cars at the same time and had the oportunity to drive both one afte the other several times.

My Sport Evo is stronger than the Evo II everywhere across the rev range. The Evo II's engine on the other hand is a better, more precise piece of enginnering and is swiss clock work whereas the SE's engine is rougher. The truth is the Evo II is a better sorted engine where the engineers spent alot of time developing (Higher compression, specific intake trumpets, etc) but the Sport Evo engine was done in a "rush" to be able to use the mods for the 90/91 season and the truth is this can be felt.

Please beware that many petrol stations (specially less known, cheaper brands) mix the 95 with 98 octane fuel in the tanks. I know this for a fact, it's a very difficult trick to detect/prove and very profitable. So for those of you running remapped chips for 98 octane make SURE you only use Shell V-Power or BP Ultimate. Take care..
