Yes, I've been working for sometime on this and soon I'll have the first centers fitted. The casting should be ready next week. I will also be able to supply full sets of wheels with the exact same lips and barrels. As you understand this won't be cheap as it's done but a reputable German company but still well below the original BBS prices. I don't mean to hijack this thread so I got all information gathered I'll post a new thread.

Regarding the magnesium wheels, as others said it's not a matter of "IF" but more like "WHEN" they're going to crack. Mine have cracked with road use only. I have been working with a german wheel craftsman who does a lot of BBS reproductions on a set of BBS E50 wheel centres correct for the M3 E30. I have sent him drawing and an actual BBS Magnesium center. We should be testing a new set of aluminium centers within a few weeks. I'll let you all know how it goes here on the forum. Meanwhile... If you're not in a hurry I can get you one for around 900euros but you'd have to wait as I have it fitted in a car I'm removing the engine and gearbox. -
For sale is a set of original BBS 16' wheels. These are exactly the same as Sport evo wheels but come with ET20 instead of ET27 which means they sit wider as if they had 7mm spacers. These are very rare as they came only on the E28 M5. No center caps and they are painted in dark silver. Price 585€ plus shipping to France (45€). Here's a photos the same wheels fitted in an M3 e30. -

Butterfly adjustment has no effect on power whatsoever. The adjustment is just for a smooth idle. -
These are the best tyres available in the 225/45 16 size with incredible grip and stiff sidewalls. These are 3.000km and in almost as new condition. Price 320€ + 40€ shipping to France. -

Those wheels are not the E28 BBS 16 Et 20, those are another style. The reason I say this is because I had a set and they are eXACTLY like the Evo 16' wheels with the spokes going all the way down to the lip and the wheels you have are not like this. -

I have 4 brand new in the box Hartge new caps for the 16's (grey centre stickers). 150€ -
There are alo more M3 with +300.000km than you think! The problem is they were severely clocked when they were semi-new i.e. 3, 4, 5 or even 10 years old. THe funny part is there are "no" M3's with more then 160-200.000km... :) -
That guy is a friend of mine and did some Detail Jobs for me namely my Evo II (#207) which was here in the forum sometime ago but is now in Spain. -
