  1. 15 c) Pour les chassis G originaux (incluant ceux qui ont un clip avant Morin): 2 pouces de moins que les mesures mentionnees dans 15a, 15b, 15c (
  2. Allmendinger was released today. http://www.jayski.com/cupnews.htm
  3. Selling a Ford 9" carrier fully assembled and race ready with a 5.43 gear and lightened full spool for 31 spline axles. Assembled in North Carolina by the company doing Roush's gears. $700
  4. I have a set of Howe prepared Impala spindles and Hubs that I'd be willing to part with. They're the exact pieces in the links below and have NEVER been mounted on a car. Howe GM#2 Spindles Howe Hub $120 / spindle $200 / hub with 1" spacer and 5/8" coarse studs $150 / hub without spacer and studs
  5. The Ford 9" rearend is 58 1/2" wide, including the brake hats. It's running 31 spline axles with grand national style bearings and hub.
  6. The last engine and transmission that were in it were a 305 and a Turbo 350. (showcar) I have that engine and tranny, and they could go with the car, but they are not intended for racing, just moving the car around. This car had a built 350 and a standard in it as a racecar. The clutch pedal and clutch master go with the car. I forgot to mention earlier that it also has twin Tilton masters, with a Wilwood brake pedal.
  7. 69 Olds 442 Spindles, with hub and rotor, 5/8" wheel studs, oem caliper mounts, and adjustable steering arm. Ball joint to ball joint height is 8 3/4", they take the same bearings as an Impala spindle (GM #2), and have a two piece hub and rotor, which makes them far lighter. Asking $200 for the pair, and I can have them delivered to the track. Johnathan Schwemler 438-402-4022
  8. 15" rims, all are 8" wide, 5 hole on 5" spacing, chrome 4 x 3 5/8" backspacing (AERO and Bart D holes) 3 x 2 5/8" backspacing (Bart circle and D holes) $15 ea, and I can deliver them to ASE. Johnathan Schwemler 438-402-4022
  9. Still looking... check your parts shed/shop shelving, someone must have on sitting around collecting dust.
  10. it would, but I don't think the frame would be legal. It has a stock front clip, but the center section and rear clip are tubular. Here's pictures without the body.
  11. I agree, the success of weekly racing in Quebec is really important for our sport! It's important to continue gaining interest with new fans, drivers and sponsors. I also strongly feel that RDS (or similar) would be a great marketing tool for all parties involved. Recently Ì've been very frustrated that RDS is so desperate for shows that they're playing broadcasts of a Texas cheerleader reality tv show. (some of us would probably like the idea until they realized these girls are about 12 years old) Speaking of promoters getting together at meetings once a year or slightly more... the Ontario Speedway Association was formed about 3 years ago and includes 10 asphalt tracks. They save each other time by attempting to use common rules and pre-planning their larger events so that there is not as much competition for the same fan base/cars. By working together you can make a promoters job easier... increase car counts w/ the ability to have cars travel away from their home track... and ensure the success of bigger, revenue generating, events! Nothing happens overnight, and sometimes people need to put their egos aside to make it work. As a sidenote, Capital City Speedway in Ottawa is on Rogers TV, and even though I personally don't have the cash flow to race full time this year, I'm finding enough to travel to one of their broadcast races... maybe some other owners/drivers have the same thought process...
  12. Rolling, CASCAR Sportsman, formerly driven and owned by Paul Dejong with multiple feature wins. The car has been used as a show car for a couple of years, but can easily be refreshed as a competitive dirt/asphalt car. The quarter panels, doors, hood and trunk lid have been removed and returned to Paul for memorabilia. The body is very simple and can be remade with aluminum or steel sheet. The rolling chassis comes with; - camaro front clip with stock upper mounts - stock lower control arms - tubular upper control arms - impala spindles - complete front suspension - ford 9" grand national 3 link rear end - j-bar panhard bar - open - older gauges - Auto Meter tach - wiring - battery - fuel lines - driveshaft - sb chev motor mounts - shifter (set up for auto) - dual masters - safety throttle -fibreglass nose, tail, front fenders and greenhouse. This car was running last week, skin the body, throw a drivetrain, your safety equipment and a fuel cell in it and go racing! $1200 negotiable will sell cross over headers/corvette ram-horn manifolds, Fuel Safe 22 gal fuel cell separetly. 13. It's a good deal for Menard's from a business perspective. Right now they're essentially doing rent-a-ride's at the top level... and sooner or later you'll have paid for someone else's assets and still be left nothing other than a name on the side of a car. The deals they've had were great at the time, but it's time to gorw into their own team.
  14. The $25,000 penalty and 6 point deduction were for the post-qualifying tech inspection where the coolant line infraction was discovered. Greg Zipadelli, competition director for Stewart's Stewart-Haas Racing team, said the violation at Daytona was not intentional. "While we respect and accept NASCAR's decision, we want to be clear that there was no malicious intent," he said in a statement. "In a rush to replace a cracked rear windshield that happened during tech inspection prior to qualifying, we jostled a cooling hose that was behind the seat. We understand NASCAR's position and will abide by its decision." sources www.nascar.com and www.jayski.com
  15. I'm looking for a quality 15 gallon fuel cell. I have a quality 22 gallon Fuel Safe fuel cell that I'd be willing to trade. http://www.fuelsafe.com/store/sportsman/complete-sportsman-fuel-cells.html?p=2 Johnathan Schwemler 438-402-4022 johnathan.schwemler@jsracecars.com
  16. I have a used SM122A fuel cell made by Fuel Safe for sale. It's been recently pulled apart and checked, the foam is great, pickup is good, comes with the fill plate (with cap). http://www.fuelsafe.com/store/sportsman/complete-sportsman-fuel-cells.html?p=2 I'll sell it for $500 or trade for an equavalent 15 gallon. 17. C EST QUOI QUE CA DIT CA ,DESOLER MON IGNORANCE BILINGUE Je ne comprendes pas "C EST QUOI QUE CA DIT CA ,DESOLER MON IGNORANCE BILINGUE". Neither did Google Translate... I shake my head at the person that thinks that because iCAR puts on one show without a purse that they believe that they can do the same. I don't know how to speak french... nor write it... and it would mess everyone that reads my post if I tried. I apologize for not learning our country's other official language sooner.
  18. *shakes my head* It's pretty ridiculous to be so petty when a little friendly competition comes along. Buddy, I think you're doing a great job of raising eyebrows and excitement. You've sparked interest from many people in the Montreal area who don't understand how much of a thrill turning left is. Good luck to both ASE and iCAR in the future! Keep raising the profile of our sport, increasing the fan base and in turn you will never loose your shirt!
  19. I also agree with getting rid of the intermission. If the field gets too strung out, throw a "debris" caution like NASCAR does! :) I'd like to see teams still encouraged to pit in the center, but not forced to. Like a "we'll wait for you to group back with the field if you pit with the rest inside the track, but if you pit in the boonies, we'll throw the green when we're ready" rule. The truth is that teams that still pit outside the track are doing so because they don't have the resources to be competitive. That, and from a fans point of view, you can see what the crew is fixing when the car is in the center of the track. Everyone from the other crews, the fans and the track staff know if the car is going to come back out, and can see how long repairs will take. You throw a caution and it takes some numpty 6 caution laps to change a tire out in the cornfield and you've lost the interest and integrity of the show. With how competitive the Sportsman are, mixed in with the handful of rookies and ill handling cars, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a natural caution with 25-10 to go anyways.
  20. I ordered one from a local parts store. I can pick it up on my way home from work Thursday. When we tested your old one at work the electrician said it was "open".
  21. Frank, you buy a little Lincoln? Good luck, that car looks like alot of work... but it should be rewarding when your running upfront with a blue oval on the grill. (it's too bad Sportsman doesn't allow the Ford Crates)
  22. I'm looking for stuff to build a fresh metric sportsman/production chassis and maybe some of you already have stuff sitting in your shop that you didn't use. - jacking bolts - (chassis) engine mounts - T-10 tranny - 58" hub face to hub face 9" Ford housing - 5.00 Ford 9" gear w/ nodular iron case, preferably full spool - gauges - winning lottery ticket...
