  1. Once again I will apologise that I can not speak French. I am looking for 3 centre caps for Amil Alloy wheels for a Renault 14. I have a part number which is 7700620409. Is it okay to use the wheel nuts that fir a Peugeot 104 with Amil wheels? Thank you Kenneth
  2. I have trying to find a new genuine Renault 14 TS front grill for around 4 years. Look what I found tonight on ebay.co.uk., for under £5 plus postage. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-14-Grille-NEW-/181600114742?ssPageName=ADME:X:BOCOR:GB:1123
  3. And finally some photos of the completed car. I he forgot to close to close the the tailgate! I do have the centre cap for the rear wheel.
  4. The 14 was not rare in the UK in the 70's or 80's, but sadly now there must only be around 5 left. They were very prone to corrosion in the UK, particularly in Scotland due to the climate.
  5. The rear axle trailing arms look worse in the photo than they were. Refurbished front grill, the plastic chrome had deteriorated badly, I used chrome decals cut to size. Front arch treated with black stonchip. Same in rear arch. Wheel after much preparation work. Tidy up of the calipers. Front wing decals made by AJ Decals in England from an original which I had. Andy Johnstone can be found here. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-14-TS-Decals-/121159366275?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c35a93683 Trailing arm axle etc painted. Rear badge before. And after. New and genuine Renault rear mud flaps sourced from ebay France. Original Renault Elf sticker still in rear window. Refitting the original interior with no remedial work required. Original headlining untouched since new. New original Renault mud flaps waiting to be fitted. New and genuine heater fan switch. Dash showing total number miles from new. Optional extra radio fitted before delivery. I still have the radio blanking plate. Some paperwork for the car. Brand new genuine Renault exhaust. British advert from 1981 for a Renault 14 TS. Refitting the interior
  6. My Renault 14 TS was purchased new by my Father in March 1981. I am sorry I donot speak French and have been using Google translate. Below is a photo of the car before any restoration work was carried out around 30 months ago. After removing the wings. The boot floor and floorpan were in excellent condition even though the car has been in Scotland since new. Corrosion on drivers door, this was the worst door by far. An original wheel which had not been painted since new. Corrosion around rear wheel arch, again totally original. Inner wing cleaned up in preparation for welding. Inner wings repaired Nearside rear arch repaired. Engine bay minus engine. New genuine Renault wings painted. Engine before cleaning and fitting of some new genuine Renault parts. Freshly painted engine bay and door checks. Engine after degreasing. Front struts painted. Cleaner engine fitted with new genuine Renault alternator and starter. The car ready for painting, the bonnet was a new genuine Renault part which I managed to source. Newly painted. The refit begins.

Here are a few photographs of the spoiler, unfortunately not for sale at present as I cannot decide if I am going to fit to my 14 TS. Sorry not the best photos.
  8. The decal you purchased from Andy Johnstone in England was copied from an original I had. The picture is with these deals fitted.

Been a long time since I have been on here but I have a new rear spoiler which goes above the rear window. It is new and unused in its original bag. It was part of ex dealer stock I acquired to help with the restoration of my own Renault 14 TS.
  10. I am Scottish and cannot speak French but I have a genuine interest in these cars. Your car looks superb! Is your car a 1977 or 1978 model, I am only guesssing looking at the interior. I own a 1981 Renault 14 TS which has a restoration almost completed on it. My car is silver grey metallic (620) with a rust coloured interior. In Britain there are only a handful of Renault 14's left and I donot know of another one in Scotland. The climate here helped them rust.
