welcome, really nice ride you got here.

how are the KW suspensions ? I first wanted to get KW variante 2 for my own EK4, but then I got told the quagliozzi are really good too but it'd be interresting to get some feedback about the KW V2 as well.

The KW v2 is a very good suspension. I wanted a quality suspension for daily use. I have them for more than a year and never had problems. I adjusted them how I wanted it and I'm very happy with it. Hardness and height are easy to adjust and my ride feels like I wanted it. To me they score 9/10.

I use my car every day, even in snow!
So I think it's better to stick with the spec A.

But you're right!

My dream setup is Toda specB cams with the Toda stroker kit.
Do you think this could work on the streets? Every day in all conditions?
Is a Hondata system enough for my ecu?
And what about the Control Technique?

If this works I'll do it for sure!! #yeah#

je roulai et travaillai avec ma civic tous les jours été comme hiver

j'ai des Jun Type 3 et un CR + de 12:1 avec des piston de CTR

et j'ai jamais heu aucun probleme Wink

The setup wil probably be with high compression pistons 11:3 (stock 10:6) and other connecting rods.
I'm not 100% sure for the cams, but the Toda spec B is my favorite and I'll try pick up those for my car. Also a bigger TB and better intake manifold and off course a complete exhaust with custom made cat. and ECtune (ecu).

Next step is the engine, this weekend I'm going to see my tuner.
He has an engine that he's working on and he maybe wants to sell it to me Very Happy
But first I gotta know how much euros it cost and wath parts he uses.
That engine produces more than 200hp and is assembled with new parts, he says.
This weekend I'll know more. Can't wait... #Jump#

I will have a new (second) totally build N/A engine. It will have B cams, revs 9000+rpm & high compression pistons. #yeah#
My stock B16A2 stays in my garage.

I reveal more specs later when the engine is installed & running.

I have found a second hand, 5 month old Mugen airbox for "only" €450.
If you know that some shops in the USA sell them @ €715 without chipping costs it's very cheap! Smile
I can tell that the airbox is fabulous! Great sound, great performance and good looking.
Installation went well, even with a Japanese installation guide Laughing
I removed the headlight, frontbumper, protection under the car, radiator with reservoir & bracket befor it fitted in. But it's defenetly worth the money, I'm very happy with it. On the engine I'm planning to swap in it wil even work better Very Happy

The changes on the ek will start soon.
First we will putt the ek9 5lug conversion on it, ek9 steering rack and pinion (from 3,3 to 2,7 rotations) and then off course the engine.
The new engine will have Toda B cams, Toda valve springs, Eagle rods, Arias pistions, JG titanium retainers, Blox intake manifold, 68mm TB, Exedy race clutch, Srr flywheel, AEM cam gears & fuel rail, RC injectors, Toda exhaust manifold, Invidia cat replacer, Fujitsubo catback,... and other stuff I forgot.

I can't wait to drive it when it's all done!

Now I'm preparing my daily eg6 so my tuner can take his time when working on the ek.

Update.

First I wanted a fully build B16 but then somebody offered me something I always wanted... and the work started. Very Happy

My B16 with S4C trans is out of the engine bay and will be swapped with a JDM ITR B18C with S80 LSD trans together with a 5lug/big brake conversion from the JDM EK9.

I have a few pics.
