New panels made of "hardboard"



New foam compared to original batting



New foam cut smaller than the hardboard



Heat up vinyl with heat gun



Press the shape with machined aluminum rod



Rod of aluminum with end machined to shape



Voila! The small marks are pencil and can be cleaned with an eraser



Spray contact cement (colle neoprene?) around edges



More contact cement



More contact cement to glue down the "circles"



...contact cement...


...and more...(the back of the vinyl)



Press down the vinyl



and cut it to appropriate size



New rivets and alu washer (with the old alu washer)









C'est fini!
