Je pense avoir trouver une réponse claire sur un forum anglais de Bimmer, voici la réponse: The filter type seperator & the vortex seperator do the same job & sit in the same housing, so you couldn't fit both anyway. They remove the oil mist from the breather fumes & drain it back to the sump. The vortex type one is better in the long run because it can't get clogged like a normal filter so it doesn't need changing (assuming normal running of course). Also a problem with the filter type is the clip that holds it in gets very weak & can break off! I don't know how far it could go but you don't want that rattling around your intake system! . On my 330d when I removed the housing I went to lift the clip out, & with hardly any pressure from 1 finger it snapped off! , I was very lucky! Btw yes the vortex filter does fit in the old filter housing, you just need to remove the clip, that's all . Si quelqu'un a des remarques sur ce qu'il dit ça peut-être interessant Merci
