Hi All, It is with an amazingly heavy heart that I have to put my Nissan 200sx S14.5 up for sale. The car has been on the scene for a few years now and has been extensively modified. The car was used as a competition drift car in Japan, built and run by Thrash Garage before being imported to the UK in 2005 and then modified into the vehicle you see today! It has been used as a competition car both here and in the UK and across Europe. The car has also been a regular display vehicle at Santapod and has performed displays at the likes of Donnington, Castle Coombe, Silverstone, Venray, Zolder and appeared at the Mechlin International Motorshow in Belgium. Im going to be as honest as i can with the description of this vehicle. The engine was put together in Japan and I managed to contact the company and get a full spec list (as you see below) I must stress that i have never opened the engine up myself so can't 100% guarantee that all this is in here. However, upon visual inspection - the engine does defiantly have the cams. We checked with a bore"o"scope and it also has forged pistons. I also pulled the sump inspection panel off and had a good look at the crank and everything appears to be in order. Engine has always been well maintained; oil changed every 4 or 5 drift days/rounds. The car has had a massive £2500 overhaul at the beginning of last year and has only done a handful of events since. During this overhaul, the car has had it's ALL it's suspension bushes replaced and up rated with Driftworks Polly items, the turbo was re-built by Owen Developments, the floor pan and rear suspension struts were seem welded, new Fabricage roll cage fitted, along with all the fluids, plugs, filters etc changed- so it feels and drives nice and fresh! The car is currently mapped to 1.3 bar and runs flawlessly with the turbo pulling hard from 2800rpm and full boost by 3400rpm. Engine response is second to none. Before the vehicle is sold, we will put the car back on the rollers and double check the map and suspension geometry. Not that it’s going to have changed from last time, but it’s always good to be sure! It’s needless to say that this is NOT a pristine show car. It’s a well looked after, but regularly used competition/display car. Currently the N/S rear quarter could do with repainting due to a tyre de-laminating at Castle Coombe this year and there is slight damage/crack to the N/S Front wing. Very few people have driven this car (Phil, Lex, Mitto, John Moffatt, Wanders, Julian Smith) but those that have will vouch for the way it drives/handles. I have driven a lot of S14 drift cars (heck a lot of drift cars in general) but NOTHING has ever come close to this. (hence why I have held onto it for so long). It really is a supremely capable car. Price: £13,500 – Or Near Offer Delivery: I can deliver at cost or arrange shipping to another country upon receipt of full payment ONLY. (Note: This picture was taken while i was testing a wasted spark system. The vehicle does not come with this package and will be sold with the standard coilpacks) Few Other Cool Pictures from the past (Bonnet is now white)
