Next week we tuned up! ... and here you can see some pages: http://www.lcdwerbung-direct.de/resources/BMW_Ac.6.pdf BMW M3 E30 - 17.970 Emotions A masterpiece of automotive literature and a hommage to the most successful touring car of all time: the M3 E30. Never before has there been a book of this nature on the market. 458 pages on the car which was conceived as an idea in 1983 and which matured into a sporting potential within three years. The documentation starts at the beginning of the 1980s when the M3 was still just an idea. Personal contacts to Paul Rosche, Helmut Himmel and Gerhard Richter made it possible to obtain information which no journalist has previously had access to. The book describes the development of the engine and the car as a whole in great detail and the elaborate illustrations are testimony to the true enthusiast behind the book. It is not only the outstanding photographs and diagrams which distinguish the book but also the details which provide food for thought for every engineer and technician. No publication of this nature has ever contained the precise materials descriptions or the work's own cross sectional diagrams. The author was awarded the rights to use this material by BMW and the M GmbH as one of their peers. Every M3 model is described and illustrated in the book, every chassis number is given, every disparity between export models and special editions is described in detail. Likewise, details of which model was exported when and where in which year are also outlined, as are limited editions from the Motorsport GmbH or conversions made on a national basis. Although the M3 E30 was a production model there were distinct differences between the various models, all of which are either illustrated or described. Much of this information will be new even to die-hard M3 drivers. The factories which were considered manufacturers and which also produced M3 versions with their own technology are described in as much detail as the distinguished tuners who were involved from day one. The second half of the book details the Group A-M3. The motorsport history which BMW made with the M3 E30 over the course of six years can never be beaten. The A Group is described and illustrated in all its glory, from the start of the first tests in Mugello in 1986 through to the end of the 1992 season. The FIA Homologation documentation is included, as are tables detailling all M3 drivers and their cars in the key European championships between 1972 and 1992. The book lacks neither the previously unpublished DTM team data recordings with the car assemblies and precise lap by lap documentation nor the background details as to why what happened how and the things that were not spoken about at the time. The development of the DTM through to the end of the 'old' DTM is explained and annotated through the author's loyal perspective. Magnificent M3's in all their versions with genuine tuning options which are still feasible today are presented at the end of the book. Details of how the future then unfolded and how it may yet unfold are also included. A number of personalities played a part in the genesis phase, personalities who are today the who's who of the automobile industry. In the book interviews with Paul Rosche, Helmut Himmel, Karl-Heinz Kalbfell, Luggi Linder, Gerhard Richter, Michael Krankenberg, Altfrid Heger and Marc Hessel bring back to life an era which no car enthusiast will ever forget. The special edition with 500 copies in a white slipcase is a hommage to the “Evolution” with a special “Evolution Sticker”. The special edition with 505 copies is a hommage to „Cecotto“ and is presented in a red slipcase with a „Cecotto“ sticker. The special edition with 600 copies is a hommage to the “Sport Evolution”, presented in a black slipcase with a „Sport Evolution Edition“ sticker. The edition with 148 copies is a hommage to the “European Masters”, is presented in a macau blue slipcase and has a “European Masters Ravaglia” sticker. The edition with 50 copies is a hommage to the „Cecotto – Schweiz“ M3, is presented in a nogaro silver slipcase and has a „Cecotto-Schweiz“ sticker. The content of the normal version and the special editions is absolutely identical! The English version of my book is a complete other book to the german version! ************************************* Peter GH Sebald Journalist, Autor und Verleger Cell: +49 (0) 178 - 525 97 05 (Office) Cell: +49 (0) 178 - 525 97 40 (Secretary) Cell: +49 (0) 178 - 525 97 41 (Private) E-Mail: service@publics4drive.com www.publics4drive.com Postfach 14 04 21 D-33624 Bielefeld (ab 01.08.2008: 53534 Barweiler/Nürburgring) Fax: +49 (0) 521 - 9 48 58 08 für Buchbestellungen E-Mail: m3e30buch@aol.com Empfehlung: www.m3-klassik.de, " " " www.pros4drive.com, " " " www.driven-by-passion.com , ****************************************** Partager ce message Lien à poster Partager sur d’autres sites
