BMW E30 Sedan 2-door -> 4-door

I the E30 and want to have the complete range of all versions.
Since OttO currently has no plans on the sedan or wagon, I started my own conversion from 2-door to 4-door:

First I took all messures from photos and marked it on the plain body.
Then cut the B-pillars and placed it 6mm forward.
Since the C-pillars are stronger I had to grind it all down and build new window frames from styrene here.











Then I spackled and sanded the old gaps and door openers and engraved the new lines with a knife.
This was the most difficult part so far.






After that I fillered the body and cut the shutlines once again until it looked fine.







Today it was painted in original BMW #218 Alpin White II:






Tomorrow I'll do all black details like this one:




It will get 16" Borbet A from Uli Nowak with white center and polished dish.  8)

Today I could finish a lot of details:
















The side windows for front doors can be shortened from original parts but the rear have to be cut from scratch.

New door handles will be done by styrene.

For interior and wheels I need the airbrush but my compressor conked out on Monday so I have to get a new one first.

I just add carpet and seat belts, no other mods. So I didn't take photos of it, sorry.
